Datang Telecom Pushes Profit Higher

China's Datang Telecom has published its latest financial report for the third quarter and the first three quarters in 2009.

According to the report, the company made revenue of CNY702 million in the third quarter of 2009, an increase of 33% compared with the CNY527 million in the same period of 2008; and its net profit was CNY24.255 million. Its net profit in the same period of 2008 was CNY20.566 million.

Meanwhile, the company reported total revenue of 2.181 billion for the first three quarters of 2009, a year-on-year increase of 26% from CNY1.732 billion; and its net profit during the same period was CNY38.958 million, a year-on-year increase of 37.88% from CNY28.255 million.
