Nissan Motor is considering increasing its U.S. production with the launch of its 2027 Rogue crossover, Christian Meunier, chairman of Nissan Americas, told CNBC. The Japanese automaker currently has two production shifts at its assembly plant in Smyrna, Tennessee, and adding another could mean hundreds, if not thousands, of new jobs.
