Telecom Communications Announces IC Star East MMS StarEastNet

Telecom Communications, Inc. has announced that its recently acquired company, IC Star East MMS, Limited has entered an agreement to form a closer partnership with Shanghai Linktone.

Both companies will launch cooperation in SMS, MMS, Coloring Ring Back Tone service and other fields based on the celebrity resources of IC Star East MMS, Limited. Linktone will provide the technical platform and take part in promoting this new operation.

Commenting on the partnership, Mr. Fred Deng, Chairman and CEO of TCOM said: "We are delighted to have partnered with Linktone, an acknowledged leader in China's fast-growing wireless services sector. I believe this venture will be an extremely fruitful one by leveraging Linktone's broad operation coverage fields and its faithful user base." Founded in October 1999, Linktone has emerged as an acknowledged leader in China's fast-growing wireless services sector. By developing a wide range of attractive content and applications for the paying end user, and by establishing nearly nationwide coverage through China's mobile operators, China Mobile and China Unicom, Linktone has enjoyed substantial, sustained growth in its user base and revenues.
