The Korean hit show ' Squid Game ' may be banned in China, but that has not stopped producers from allegedly copying the concept of the show. Reports on Korean news portals stated that a new Chinese variety show is in the works, but it is its similarity to the global phenomenon that has stirred up fans on social media. It was reported that China will be launching a new variety program titled ' Squid’s Victory ' sometime in 2022 after the first promotional poster of the show went viral.
