Alibaba to hold annual 11.11 shopping event in a new Chinese operating environment

Alibaba Group’s much awaited 11.11 Global Shopping Event will happen on Thursday, November 11th. Alibaba is looking for a three-week shopping event, which began at the end of October, with more than 290,000 participating products, and more than 14 million deals offered to Tmall for 900-plus million buyers in China. These numbers include 2,000 Australian products listed on Tmall and Tmall Global, about 80% of which enter China for the first time through Chinese markets, while New Zealand products make up more than 700 types of brands. Some of Australia’s top brands at Tmall Global include Swisse, Blackmores, and LifeSpace....
