Tsinghua Tongfang has signed a cooperation agreement with the China Meat Research Center, which plans to use RFID products and technology to help develop software and hardware for managing meat products.

The parties' cooperation includes rebuilding of the breeding farms, butcher sites and supermarkets; developing software systems and integrated systems; and debugging the equipment, which covers the whole process of food safety ranging from breeding and butchering to processing and sales.

It is expected that this cooperation can not only help merge RFID technology with food safety systems, but also upgrade the overall food safety level in China and promote the development of the RFID industry of the country.

Tsinghua Tongfang was one of the first in China that launched an RFID food safety trace and management solution based on the industry management information platforms used on the mainland.
