Following their release of a proposal of making donations to help students affected by the earthquake return to school, Sina.com (SINA) and China Siyuan Foundation for Poverty Alleviation have now made another proposal, calling on special funds to be raised to offer psychological aid to those students.

Sina.com and CSFPA say they will unite with concerned government departments to set up a special fund to offer mental aid for students affected by the earthquake in Sichuan; commission a government department or a professional psychology association to manage the fund; and offer long term, systematic and well-planned mental aid to youngsters in the earthquake areas.

The Disaster Affected Student Mental Aid Fund says it will work closely with local government, non-government organizations and other social entities to do its best to implement well each of its programs.
