Avangate, a full service provider of electronic software distribution and reseller management solutions for software vendors, has announced its cooperation partnership with the Chinese Internet payment service provider Alipay, enabling these software vendors to pay with Chinese Yuan in China via Alipay's platform.
As a part of Avangate's market expansion strategy in China, its partnership with Alipay can help software vendors make more focused marketing strategies and more accurate market positionings, so as to better serve the ever-growing Chinese software market. Avangate has already launched localized a Chinese-language order system and customer service.
From now on, Chinese users who buy software from Avangate's software vendors will be able to pay in local currency via their Alipay accounts.
As the Internet payment subsidiary of the Chinese B2B e-commerce group Alibaba, Alipay now boosts an average daily volume of four million transactions and an average daily transaction value of CNY700 million. Its large user base and trading value make it a top online payment platform in China.
Launched in 2005, Avangate provides a full-featured e-commerce platform and a partner management system together with Web marketing solutions to help clients increase their visibility on the Internet, maximize access to additional selling channels and increase software sales online and offline.
