Imon And Seagull Partner To Serve Chinese Market

Seagull Software, a provider of software products for connecting legacy applications to Internet architectures, and Imon Technology Co. Ltd., an IT consulting company, have signed a distribution and support agreement under which Imon Technology will market, distribute and support Seagull Software products in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau.

Imon Technology also represents companies such as Intel and RogueWave, and complementary middleware vendors Sonic and Iona in the Chinese market. Seagull Software's LegaSuite products will be used for terminal emulation, legacy integration and Web enablement projects.

The relationship will be managed out of Seagull Software's Australia office, which is responsible for expansion of the company's business in the Asia/Pacific region.

"Imon Technology is a value-added distributor that understands enterprise application development and will be practitioners of our technology," said Don Addington, President & CEO of Seagull Software. "We want to gain access to opportunities in the Asia/Pacific geography, and Imon Technology has a track record of successful enterprise projects in the region."

Imon Technology has already distributed Seagull Software products to Kodak China and FedEx China.
