SMSActive Announces SMS T-Bar And SMS T-Link For China

SMSActive Technologies has announced that it has begun the final phase of the development of its latest mobile Instant messaging products, SMS T-Bar and SMS T-Link for use in China.

These new products are based on SMSActive's patent pending solution the "Communication Bar" and the Jabber Open Source Instant Messaging Platform. SMS T-Bar and SMS T-Link will provide PC users with the ability to send SMS messages to wireless users anywhere in the world and receive replies directly from the receiving wireless device based on "Reply-Recognition". The new SMS messaging platform is scalable to support virtually unlimited numbers of messages on a daily basis.

SMSActive expects to deploy the SMS T-Bar and SMS T-Link in the Chinese market in the fourth quarter of 2004. Currently, there are more than 300 million wireless subscribers in China who are expected to send more than 550 billion SMS messages in 2004. It is estimated that more than 1.4 trillion SMS messages will be sent in China in 2006.
