JAMDAT Mobile Invests In Chinese Wireless Content Distributor

JAMDAT (JMDT) has announced an investment in Chinese wireless entertainment distributor, C-Valley.

This investment allows JAMDAT to distribute its wireless content in China through C-Valley.

Based in Beijing, C-Valley has forged strong relationships with two of the largest wireless carriers in the world, China Mobile and China Unicom, and also developed comprehensive distribution services. The Company is led by Leo Liu, President and CEO, who was instrumental in launching some of the first wireless games and content in China during his tenure at Motorola China.

"Our investment in C-Valley is consistent with our focus on the establishment of strong local carrier relationships," said Mitch Lasky, Chairman and CEO of JAMDAT Mobile Inc. "We will bring our entertainment content to the burgeoning Chinese market through C-Valley's relationships with wireless carriers, handset manufacturers and retailers."

Other C-Valley investors include ACCESS Co., Ltd, a global provider of mobile content delivery and Internet access technologies, and TOSE Co., Ltd, Japan's largest outsourced software developer of video game software for home use and entertainment applications for mobile phones.
