BTN Access, a global IP telephony provider, has merged with the PCCW International Commercial Group.

Prior to the integration Btnaccess was a wholly owned subsidiary of PCCW Limited (PCW) and a provider of business class voice and data solutions, including Hosted PBX and MPLS VPN, with a large customer base including carriers, service providers and enterprises.

The newly formed PCCW Global will immediately begin servicing existing customers and will be offering an expanded network and product suite to enterprise and wholesale customers around the world.

The new business unit will maintain its corporate headquarters in Hong Kong and Virginia. In addition to the US and Hong Kong locations, offices will be maintained throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa.

The PCCW Global management team will by headed by Dan Lovatt as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and regional Managing business heads which will include Patrick Hannon, Americas; Marc Halbfinger, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Stephen Pang, Asia Pacific.
