Lenovo has incorporated the services and staff in Hong Kong and Macao into that of its Greater China Region division.
This is the first major adjustment made by Lenovo in the new year.
Before the adjustment, Hong Kong and Macao were included in Lenovo's Asia Pacific Region along with Southeast Asia, Japan and Australia.
Lenovo's Thinkbrand products occupy the largest marketshare in Hong Kong and Macao, and the sales volume in the Greater China Region has taken up more than 40% of Lenovo's total sales.
Chen Shaopeng, general manager of the Lenovo China, will continue to be responsible for the Greater China Region following this adjustment.
