AsiaInfo (ASIA) has partnered with China Mobile to launch China's first metadata management platform.

The metadata management pilot programs in Jilin Mobile and Hubei Mobile constructed by AsiaInfo have been successfully completed and put into use, sparking a new era of BI system construction of China Mobile this year.

Jilin Mobile's metadata management platform greatly improves the quality of the carrier's data management through unified processing of metadata across all sections of its Business Intelligence (BI) system. The enhanced maintenance capability and data quality results in reduced workload for users of the operation analysis system and improved working efficiency.

In another pilot program of China Mobile- Hubei Mobile's metadata management system, AsiaInfo constructs Hubei Mobile's BI metadata management platform by using its proprietary AIOpenBI-MDM software solution to unify data management across the carrier's operation analysis system, increasing the quality of its BI data management and improving its working efficiency.
