New published data indicates that approximately 5,000 hotels around China have joined China Telecom's Perfect Hotel Alliance.

The Perfect Hotel Alliance is China Telecom's hotel information solution which includes a hotel management platform application, guestroom video services, internet access, fixed-line phone payment system, and short messaging service. When guests arrive in their rooms, they can turn on their televisions and instantly view information about the hotel and its surroundings.

Through the cooperation between hotels and the alliance, customers can enjoy comprehensive information services including a convenient domestic telephone network, digital guestrooms, video-on-demand, and a tourism and cultural information query service.

The Perfect Hotel Alliance is aimed at improving the information service quality of hotels, to enhance their market competitiveness, and to build a profitable industry link between government, hotels and customers.
