According to reports in Chinese local media, Wuhan government and Tencent recently signed a cooperation agreement to jointly build Wuhan into an intelligent city.

Meanwhile, the two parties will promote the realization of Tencent's digital industrial headquarters in Wuhan.

Based on the agreement signed by the two parties, Wuhan government and Tencent will apply Tencent's cloud computing, big data, and AI accumulations to jointly establish Wuhan's intelligent city system platform. They will promote Wuhan's digital economic development from digital government, city management, city decision making and industrial interconnection sectors to improve the government service level of the city.

For example, the two parties will build Wuhan's public security data brain to improve police analysis and police handling efficiency. For network security talent training, Tencent will help Wuhan build a national network security talent and innovation base. The two parties will jointly establish a Tencent network security institute and develop innovative information security products. In regards to intelligent education, Tencent will use education cloud computing and AI to promote the construction of an intelligent education demonstration zone in Wuhan.

In addition, with Tencent's 5G research scenarios, Wuhan will promote 5G industrial development. With Tencent's mobile payment terminal products, Wuhan will also accelerate the access to WeChat payment in various sectors to build an intelligent city with open sharing mobile payment.
