No proposal with MeitY to revoke ban on Chinese apps, says Vaishnaw

There is no proposal to revoke the ban imposed by the government on Chinese mobile applications such as TikTok and PUBG, Parliament was informed on Wednesday. “There is no proposal with the Ministry to revoke the blocking orders,” Minister for Electronics and IT Ashwini Vaishnaw said in response to a starred question on whether the government proposes to restart the use of Chinese applications in the country that had been banned earlier.
