The General Assembly of the United Nations Organization (UN) approved this Wednesday a resolution against the Russian invasion of Ukraine. With 141 states in favor, 5 against and 35 abstentions, the UN demanded that Russia end the invasion and immediately and unconditionally withdraw its troops from the neighboring country. The four countries that supported Russia by voting against the resolution have compelling diplomatic and economic reasons for having maintained that position.
