Hong Kong’s top badminton players have said they would happily enter an isolation bubble if it meant the return of the city’s Super 500 tournament later this year. Officials are following in the footsteps of the city’s rugby bosses and have proposed a “closed loop” for the Hong Kong Open at the Coliseum, which they hope will take place – like the Hong Kong Sevens – in November.
