Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the Tata-Airbus consortium’s manufacturing facility in Vadodara, Gujarat, on 30 October 2022. The plant will make the C-295 military planes in India. It will be the first plant in the private sector to make military aircraft.
