Wang Chunwen, general manager of Oracle's (ORCL) Enterprise Management Software Service in China, has disclosed to local media that Oracle will increase its subsidiaries in China from the current 5 to 26 in the 2007 fiscal year.

Oracle's subsidiaries in Dalian, Jinan and Tianjin have recently opened and the company says it wants more expansion in order to better explore the medium and small enterprise markets. Wang says that China has become the fastest growing market for Oracle's global business, and the medium and small enterprise market accounts for 99% of China's total enterprises, contributes 50% to China's GDP and provides 75% of job opportunities.

Wang says that apart from the provincial capitals, Oracle will continue to expand its business in the fast growing second-tier and third-tier cities in China.

Oracle's 2006 fiscal year report shows that the company's management software service increased by 80% compared with the same period of last year.
