Microsoft says the just-opened North China Azure region doubles the capacity of its cloud portfolio in China. As of this week, Microsoft now has added a fifth Chinese Azure region to its line-up. The new North China region in Hebei doubles the capacity of Microsoft’s cloud portfolio in China, officials said in a blog post on March 3.Microsoft announced its plans to offer Azure in China through partner 21ViaNet in 2012.
